This is my Tumblr dedicated to my health. I set out in October 2011 to train to run a marathon and on October 21, 2012, I ran the Detroit Free Press Marathon. In that time my weight varied +/- 10lbs. I went from never running to running a marathon and I weigh the same as I started. What?!
Now I'm dedicating this blog to figure out what works.
It's going to be trial and error until something works for me.
Just another part of the journey.

Submitted a before and after to a before and after tumblr today. I keep getting discouraged by how slow the weight is coming off for me, but it’s always refreshing and nice to see how far I really have come… even if it’s been a few years. It has been a few years… and I still see myself as the girl I used to be. Weight loss is 100% mental, folks, and it’s hard to wrap your mind around.
